Lincoln Trail

Any 5th grade student who wants to learn to play a musical instrument qualifies to be a member of the 5th grade band. Students are 'fitted' with an instrument with the help of the band directors early in the school year. The 5th grade band presents two concerts during the school year: a Christmas concert and a spring concert. 

Jr. High School

Students choosing to be part of the band program at the Jr. High School will continue to develop their skills as a musician.

6th Grade Band - The 6th grade band presents two concerts during the school year: a Christmas concert and a spring concert. See the calendar for specific dates and times.

7th and 8th Grade Bands - The 7th and 8th grade bands present three concerts during the school year: a fall concert, a spring concert, and a POPS concert. 

Jazz Band - 7th and 8th grade band student are eligible to be part of the Jr. High Jazz Band. This extra-curricular group performs at some of the home basketball games and at the High School Jazz Band Dinner/Dance.

High School

Marching Band - All high school band members are part of the Marching Band. The Marching Band performs at all home football games and competes in several marching festivals in the fall. For more information about Marching Band, please view the information provided below.

Concert Band - The Concert Band is open to any high school band student. The Concert band presents three concerts during the school year: a fall concert, a winter concert, and a POPS. 

Wind Ensemble - The Wind Ensemble is open to students in grades 10 - 12 and provides opportunities that challenge students in their continuing study of music. Auditions are required for entrance into the Wind Ensemble. The Wind Ensemble presents three concerts a year: a fall concert, a winter concert, and a POPS concert. 

Jazz Band - The Jazz Band is open to any band student. Auditions are required for participation in the Jazz Band. This extra-curricular group performs at home basketball games, competes at several jazz festivals, and performs at the Jazz Band Dinner/Dance.
