MS Choral Programs

Lincoln Trail

All 5th grade students at Lincoln Trail Elementary School are part of the 5th grade choir. The 5th grade choir presents two concerts during the school year: a Christmas concert and a spring concert. 


Jr. High School

Students choosing to be part of the choral program at the Jr. High School will continue to develop their voices and music skills by studying two-, three-, and four-part music within a mixed choir environment.

6th Grade Choir - The 6th grade choir presents two concerts during the school year: a Christmas concert and a spring concert. 

7th and 8th Grade Choir - The 7th and 8th grade choirs presents three concerts during the school: a fall concert, a spring concert, and a POPS concert. 


High School

Students choosing to be part of the choral program at the High School have many opportunities to further develop their singing and musical skills.

Concert Choir - The Concert Choir offers students in grades 9 - 12 opportunities to further develop their singing skills in a mixed choir setting. The Concert Choir presents three concerts a year: a fall concert, a winter concert, and a POPS concert. 

Chamber Choir -The Chamber Choir offers musically accelerated students in grades 10 - 12 opportunities that challenge their continuing study of music. Auditions are required for entrance into the Chamber Choir. The Chamber Choir presents three concerts a year: a fall concert, a winter concert, and a POPS concert. 

Treble Choir - The Treble Choir is for treble voices and offers female students in grades 9 - 12 opportunities to develop their singing skills in a treble choir environment. The Treble Choir presents three concerts a year: a fall concert, a winter concert, and a POPS concert. 

Madrigals - The Madrigals are the premier ensemble of the Mahomet Seymour High School Choral program. Auditions are required for participation in this extra-curricular group. The Madrigals perform at three Madrigal Dinner performances in December as well as for many other groups throughout the school year.
